Ford Fiesta Inside Door Handle Not Working

The recall covers nearly 2 2. Place hand inside handle as if to pull the door open wait for unlock pull. How does one fix it. It seems the latch assembly is broken internally.

Lock and outside handle work just fine. Average repair cost is 190 at 72 150 miles. Close door mash any available part of body with exposed skin against black square on the outside of the handle wait for lock sound. Average failure mileage is 50 250 miles.

Can it be gotten from the scrap yard. Lifting and lowering the outside and or inside door handle has absolutely no affect on the latch. The 2011 ford fusion has 30 problems reported for door won t open from inside. Do not touch the black square this will confuse the car.
