How old are the hoses. Recently i noticed a water leak dripping into the rear compartment below the rear fuse box. We don t get rain any more in central ca so this is the only way to discover a roof leak. They diagnosed the issue as a broken left rear drain tube and quoted me 800 to replace.

I have a vista roof and have not located any cracks. It has been to the dealer twice and the headliner dropped once. The drain tube on the drivers side has been cleaned out and air forced through it but we still have a leak. See pictures for more detail.

It originally leaked out of the right rear pillar and then into the spare tire well. Water saturates headliner approximately where the rear drain tube is connected. I just brought my flex to the ford delaer with vista sunroof leak on drivers side water on rear driver s side floor and liner on driver s side. I removed the vista glass and performed a deep cleaning then lub.

Water leak i bought a new 2017 escape se in dec 2017. They fixed it at no charge but it took. Rain leaks into my ford flex vista headliner only when vehicle is parked on a incline. Local ford dealer has looked at it 4 times and can t find the source.

It has the factory installed roof rails. They explained that it is a lot of hours time to pull down headliner and replace tube. I took it back to the dealer and they said the leak was coming from where the roof rail was connected to the roof. Issue some 2011 2013 flex vehicles may exhibit a water leak from the roof opening panel area.
